…….5 out of 10.
Now if it was music history, I’d probably done better.
Well I guess we all need a reminder that there is a big world out there and it is closing in fast , we need to be informed globally as well…. I think you did pretty well
Loraine
……I was contemplating looking up a couple of answers, only because I tend to not read world headlines that often.
well it was pretty across the board but that is the point actually we do tend to focus on our own headlines..
but for instance the Sub Prime Capital of the World Cleveland and the disaster that rippled out from that first appeared not in Cleveland but in the European headlines…….. and I noticed whilst in Europe I was given more info there about what is happening HERE and the other trend is that articles I have read in the morning through European news etc. make our news about 18 to 24 hours later and I have to say somewhat watered down…….knowledge is power
……….I have noticed that, and am reading the BBC daily for stuff that we don’t see here in our own media. Like:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/7710169.stm
and this:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/us_elections_2008/7710271.stm
and this:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/7710355.stm
yeah but remember the BBC is government sponsored got to check out ITV and others too
…..thanks. any favorites?
Gosh I look at most front pages and sites whiilst having my coffee ( scan most) even the ones I know are biased you know like Fox news here well Murdock owns a lot of papers and TV news in Europe too
