Aw jeez, Muley. The husband is already threatening to block Animal Planet, National Geographic, and public television until after the baby comes, and then I come here only to find that you’re back [yay! finally!] and still as good as ever at tugging on the ol’ heartstrings. Thank you for sharing this! I hope that you & the Mrs. are happy and healthy and enjoying your new digs. Looking forward to reading more from you soon!

So great to hear from you Momma. Although I made the trip down here solo, I’m still enjoying my new “digs”. The weather is good (75 today) people are very friendly, the azalea festival (noted above) is a week away so everything is blooming and it’s so pretty everywhere………….and no potholes in site. I see there will be an addition to the family soon, congrats and I wish you all good health and happiness.
Moonbeam………..makes me want to play some music.

Thanks for the Zappa & the congrats & the good wishes! What an interesting choice of songs, as I guess this little one could be considered a product of Cosmik [as in Cosmic Charlie, of course] Debris! [ok, eww, bad joke, sorry again - can I blame this one on the hormones?]
I am glad that you are loving life in the South! It sure does look beautiful down there. I can’t wait for the blooming to start creeping north! And I love your new tagline – I’ll bet a day at any of your beaches is a lot better than most at ours!

………..”Moonbeam”…..sounds like a name that Zappa would give to one of his kids, that’s all. Nothing bad meant by that reference. Sorry about your comment in moderation for so long, first day at work yesterday and didn’t check any mail when I got home last night. Stay tuned Momma, as soon as I get into a regular schedule, I hope to pick up my pace on writing for the blog with more exciting news from the warm and friendly confines of the southeast coast. Stay warm and cozy. Btw, when is that little Beamer due?

I didn’t take the Zappa in a bad way – I was rather amused! And you’re right – Moonbeam does sound like a Zappa name! Hmm, you just might have given us another baby name suggestion with that one – Moonbeam Zappa!
He or she is due to arrive August 23. We go back to find out the ‘he or she’ part [no pun intended] on April 17.
I can’t wait till you get back into your writing groove! I always enjoy reading what you have to say wherever you say it!
