Several weeks ago I posted this about one of Lorains favorite speakers, author Dr. Mary Hilaire Tavenner, aka “Sally”. and her book signing to be held this Sat, Oct. 18th (sweetest day guys, don’t forget that box of chocolates) to be held at Roxy’s Reeds, 132 Park Ave in downtown Amherst from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.

Won’t you join Sally and friends for a little chat, grab a inexpensive book to read, or even some pizza later.

See you there.

One of my most favorite people, Dr. Mary Hilaire Tavenner, Sally to y’all, is having her second “BIG DEAL” booksigning on Sweetest Day, October 18th, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. @ Roxy’s Reads, 132 Park Ave in downtown Amherst. Meet and dine with Sally, a reknown author, speaker and should’ve-been-school superintendent from Lorain, Ohio.

Sally has written 7 books now with the release of her latest, “My Friendship with St. Elizabeth Ann Seton”, all of which are available @ www.xlibris.com or just about any bookstore in the area.

Come out and chat with Sally on Sweetest Day, you’ll enjoy it, I’m sure.

And if you can’t make it, you may also pick up her new book at Drug Mart on Colorado Ave in Lorain beginning on Oct. 15th.

Sally’s other writings:

Memories of Mom, They Called Her Dutch

Nun of This and Nun of That, Book One: Beginnings

Nun of This and Nun of That, Book Two: Taking Vows

France 1996: Memoirs of a Writer in France

Portrait of Helen Steiner Rice: A Lorain Version

Peru: 2002

A book is always a good gift, whether for someone special, or yourself.
